This is actually just a kids version of the Evil Dead. (A group of young people go to a family's old deserted cabin or mansion out in the woods. Legend has it one of the original owners of the old house allegedly went nuts investigating the occult. One of the young people then find a cursed book in the house. They read the incantations inside; unwittingly unleashing the demons from the netherworld to enter ours; and to attack the group at the house. And then the bulk of the story is this group battling the demons. Same plot almost exactly.).
