When Katherine Heigl appeared on the Howard Stern Show in April 2016, Stern pointed out that this film would never get made these days, especially by a Disney-owned studio, at least, not in the U.S, and if anyone tried, they'd be arrested. Heigl agreed, saying, "It would never happen. I watched it recently with my 14-year-old niece, and I was like, 'This is really inappropriate!'"
