One change from the original animated film to this adaptation is the absence of the song "The Siamese Cat Song", originally sung by Peggy Lee as the voice of two Siamese breed cats. The song was seemingly cut from the live action version due to its problematic racial caricatures and outdated cultural references. The breed of cat used in the remake was also changed from the original Siamese breed for the same reason.
