Linda Blair was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress for her work in "The Exorcist" in 1974. Linda was only 12 when she was nominated. Another child actor beat her out that year: Tatum O'Neal who was only 10, who became the youngest Oscar winner in the history of the Oscars. Tatum beat the foul mouthed tough as nails Regan playing another foul-mouthed tough as nails girl, Addie Loggins.
