There was only one pre-release photo of Domhnall Gleeson in the role of General Hux, and during an interview with Gleeson, a writer asked him if Hux was a good or bad guy. Gleeson laughed and said "We're all in a lot of trouble if a guy wearing THAT uniform becomes a good guy!", referring to the fact that Hux' military outfit was purposely designed to look like a space version of a Nazi Wehrmacht uniform.
