The first of two feature films to include in its cast both Clayton Moore and John Hart, the two actors who would later play the title role in Il cavaliere solitario (1949). In two of Moore's episodes as the masked hero, Hart also appeared in minor roles, along with Jay Silverheels who would play Tonto to both actors during the series' run and therefore was in more episodes than anyone else.
