Creasy's line, "Revenge is a meal best served cold" is a modified version of the original Klingon proverb, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Quentin Tarantino, a huge "Star Trek" fan, used this quote at the beginning of Kill Bill - Volume 1 (2003), another revenge story. The original quote is based on an old Sicilian/Italian saying, "Revenge is a dish best served cold".
