In addition to several Rolling Stones songs, the movie features "Memo From Turner," Mick Jagger's first solo record. "Memo From Turner" was written and recorded for Jagger's film Performance, in which the life of a London gangster becomes entangled with that of a decadent rock star. Director Martin Scorsese has said that Performance is one of his favourite gangster movies.
