Based on the real-life 2011 case of Detlef S, a father-of-eight, who abused his daughter and forced his stepdaughter into prostitution. As director Alexandros Avranas stated, the real-life case is even darker than the film portrays. Detlef S was found guilty on 70 counts of sexually abusing children under age 14, 63 counts of abuse of minors and 29 counts of facilitating prostitution.
