A crime scene photo taken by the police showing Marilyn Monroe dead in her bed lying with her face down and surrounded by bottles of pills on her night stand, was recreated towards the end of the movie. In the scene at around 2h 25 mins, Monroe wakes up thinking she had a nightmare and gets up from her bed naked and covered in blood, in a follow-up to the previous scene where she suffers a forced abortion. In the last minutes of the movie, she dies in her bed with her face up, but this time only her legs are visible. Monroe died lying with her face down as shown in the police photos.
