Chris Evans would go on to play another Marvel comic book hero, Steve Rogers/Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Coincidentally, Michael B. Jordan played Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in the Fantastic 4 - I fantastici quattro (2015) reboot and later co-started as Erik Killmonger in Black Panther (2018), another film also set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
