Evie Moroz, star player of the Fort Wayne Daisies, was born Evelyn Florence Wawryshyn, on 12/11/1924, in Tyndall, Manitoba, and died in Winnipeg on 2/3/2022. She was inducted into Cooperstown and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.
