This the second series for Tom Selleck and Len Cariou after La signora in giallo (1984). Selleck appeared in one episode as detective Thomas Magnum, repeating his role from Magnum P.I. (1980), meanwhile Cariou was a recurrent character, CIA Agent Michael Hagerty. Therefore, they didn't share a scene.
