Shot largely at the Barrandov Studios outside Prague in the Czech Republic with a predominantly British crew, filming was frequently held up as it was in the midst of a World Cup. The crew would disappear for 90 minutes to watch the English home team matches, much to director David Dobkin's bemusement.
