Christian Slater, who portrays Daniel Malloy in this film, had previously starred in I delitti del gatto nero (1990). Actress Rae Dawn Chong, who portrays Louis' mother in AMC's Interview with the Vampire (2022) show, also previously starred in I delitti del gatto nero (1990). Slater starred in the film's first story called, "Lot 249", and Chong starred in the third and final story called, "Lover's Vow".
