Chris Hemsworth wore a fat suit that weighed around 60 to 70 pounds while filming the movie -- that's before he wore the layers of clothing, particularly during the final battle where he donned his armor. Hemsworth also had cheek pads and, to complete the look, got a new beard and hair, as well. Wearing the fat suit limited his mobility during production, not to mention increased discomfort carrying all that extra weight from the suit, but he didn't mind; according to his Endgame co-stars Paul Rudd and Tessa Thompson, he was even excited about the prospect of transforming his character to something new.
