The version of "Hey There" that John Raitt records on his Dictaphone plays back with one different lyric than that which he sings into it. He sings, "or are ya too far gone to hear" but it plays back "or are ya too much in love to hear." (Adler & Ross pulled a similar lyric switch with "Goodbye Old Girl" in "Damn Yankees.")
