The final "Star Wars" project in which James Earl Jones provided new dialogue for Darth Vader, who is briefly heard at the beginning of the film as one of Palpatine's changing voices. In Darth Vader's following appearance in the series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022), his dialogue is digitally recreated using archived tracks and Jones allowed this technique to be used in future productions following his retirement from voicing the character in 2022.
