Andrew McCarthy worked with co-star Kevin Dillon's brother, Matt in the film "Kansas" which was filmed ten years before this film was released in 1987. Dillon's character in that film isn't too dissimilar to that of McCarthy's in this film, which were stone cold killers, liars and manipulators.
