James Mitchell went on to star on ABC soap opera La valle dei pini (1970). He played wealthy Pine Valley resident Palmer Cortland. Years later, it was found out that Palmer came from very humble beginnings as Pete Clooney, from Pigeon Hollow, West Virginia.
