In almost every episode, Gary is usually the one that puts out the campfire at the end of a story. Some rare occasions, somebody or something else put it out. In one episode, the rain puts it out and in another, we see Kiki put it out. There is also another episode where Gary couldnt put it out at all due to Tucker hiding the bucket of water.
