In the movie, the Nazi art collector is said to have escaped to Argentina in a boat, a common destination for fleeing Nazis to hide after the war ended. There's even a popular conspiracy theory that Hitler himself escaped to Argentina in a submarine and lived the rest of his life until he died as an old man.
