The characters Ling, Yao and Chen-Po are recycled "Avatars" from a previous Disney creation. In the television series "Aladdin", there is an episode called "the 7 faces of Genie" in which through an accident Genie is "split" into 7 different personalities. One was a very thin, hyperactive clown type character (LING), one was a very short and angry character who was also very strong (Yao) and another was a very tall, hefty character with a very gentle nature (Chen-Po.)
