Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren have both played Prospero from Shakespeare's The Tempest (2010)/The Tempest (2010), and both did so in 2010. Mirren's take on the character was renamed Prospera. Both actors have also shared another role with previous Prospero player John Gielgud. Plummer has played Sherlock Holmes and Hamlet, while Mirren played Hobson in Arturo (1981).
