The library scene was filmed at SOAS University of London, and while the filmmakers were afforded a portion of the library to film, students were still actively using the space. There was an Asian Studies section featuring DVDs, and Wright tried to convince cinematographer Chung Chung-hoon to sign all of his collaborations with Park Chan-wook.
