Pablo Larraín also wanted to make sure this movie accurately showed that it was Jacqueline Kennedy who first connected President John F. Kennedy's Administration with Camelot, the Kingdom ruled by King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, which was based on the highest of human principles. "I didn't really have a personal connection to the idea of Camelot until I explored more about it", said Larraín. "I went back and listened to the words of the musical. When I got it, I was very moved, and I thought it was brilliant that Jackie was the one who linked that legend with her husband."
