Film company NewVision, based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia, took on the film as its Australian theatrical distributor, and cable operator Movie Vision (the Optus Pay TV channels) acquired the Pay TV rights. Beyond Films Limited handled international sales. With all this marketplace attachment, the Australian Film Finance Corporation (AFFC) came to the cash party along with the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC), in whose territory the film was shot.
