This is one of two movies where in Colin Firth's character is a potential father to a child. The other being Bridget Jones' Baby (2016). In Mamma Mia! (2008), he is Harry Bright, one of three possibilities (the other two candidates being Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan) and Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgård)). In Bridget Jones' Baby (2016), his Mark Darcy is a paternal candidate, while the other potential father is Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey).
