Sophia Loren and Marion Cotillard are the only actresses to win a Best Actress Oscar for a foreign-language movie; Loren for La ciociara (1960) (Italian) and Cotillard for La Vie En Rose (2007) (French). Both received a second Oscar nomination for another foreign-language movie: Loren for Matrimonio all'italiana (1964) and Cotillard for Due giorni, una notte (2014).
