According to the Friday the 13th wiki website, Freddy vs. Jason (2003) takes place in Autumn 2003, two months after Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), which occurred in June 2003, and five years before Jason Voorhees was captured by the Camp Crystal Lake Research Facility at the beginning of Jason X (2001), which occurred in 2008.
