Maddie Taylor, who voiced Buddy and Deni, took over Patrick Warburton and Jon Favreau, as Ian and Reilly, respectively in the straight-to-DVD sequels, as well as Elliot in Boog & Elliot 3 (2010) and the Open Season video games. She also went under the additional voices in various Sony Animation movies (except for Surf's Up - I re delle onde (2007), Angry Birds - Il film (2016), The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2020), and Hotel Transylvania 4 (2021), where she was outside the additional voices for who she voiced in those movies).
