When Mr. Potter (played by Jeffrey Jones) calls the operator and asks for the number for Dr. Dolittle, he says "Not Stuart Little, Dolittle." Ironically, Jeffrey Jones played Uncle Crenshaw in Stuart Little two years earlier.
