On the commentary, during the James Franco scene, Judd Apatow. and Seth Rogen mention how funny he is in the "upcoming" Strafumati (2008) and that comedy isn't a path Franco has really chosen. Apatow asks Rogen what Franco says when he asks him about it. Rogen replies, "He says, 'I'm in the middle of Friedrich Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil".'".
