Despite the Skywalker family being central characters throughout the Star Wars saga, this movie marks the only time the name "Skywalker" has appeared in a Star Wars movie title, and the only title in the core series to have a character/family name in it. Ironically, the only actual Skywalker family members in the movie do not survive. (Not including Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) as it is part of the expanded Star Wars series. Regardless of "Solo" not being Han's birth name is the one he gave his son, so is his name. The upcoming TV series will feature the last names Kenobi and Andor, in reference to characters Obi-wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor (from Rogue One), and another is expected to be called Lando).
