Before crossing the rope bridge over the river, Captain Yllescas asks about local Taliban radio chatter. The translator cannot fully understand the dialect but thinks they're talking about scarves. Capt. Yllescas is the only American soldier wearing scarf. The Taliban are watching the troops, they have been observing and studying the base as a whole, and are radioing to advise their trigger-man to wait for the man in the scarf (the highest ranking officer) before detonating the IED.
