On 28 September 2016, shortly before the release of this film, Benedict Cumberbatch joined Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour on stage at a Royal Albert Hall concert and sang co-lead vocals of their classic hit "Comfortably Numb". Furthermore, Pink Floyd's sophomore album "A Saucerful of Secrets" (1968) features superimposed images of Doctor Strange himself, from Strange Tales #158.
