When a Special Operations Team is given a mission they usually are the ones to work up the plan to include E&E (Escape and Evasion)plans/alternatives . In this film the team is given a mission immediately upon return to the ship and are expected to go back out right away. They ask the commander what their E&E plan is at the mission briefing. The team would normally work out all these details themselves And then present their mission plan to the OIC.
