This is the third Resident Evil CGI film to feature Leon S. Kennedy as a main protagonist, while this is Chris Redfield's first. Leon first starred in Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) along with Chris' sister Claire, and also in Resident Evil: Damnation (2012) along with Ada Wong. This is also Rebecca Chambers' first CGI movie appearance.
