Director Ilarde was determined not to use "canned" sound effects for all the cocking, clunking and loading of the firearms in the film that he ordered (out of own pocket) live firearms brought to the sound studio (Roadrunner Network), complete with Police escort, and had the foley artists use the real guns. Ilarde also wanted to record live firing of the guns but was eventually prohibited by the sound Studio's management.
