It was shot to look like one uninterrupted shot without any cuts. This was achieved by months of planning, four days of blocking and rehearsals, and only one day of filming. There were over 40 hanging lights custom rigged to an existing house, with over ten people involved in moving set pieces, manually controlling lightning effects, smoke, and sound cues during takes. It was also shot during the day and every window was either blacked out or tented with lights within the tents to simulate lightning and night sky or street lights.
