Trini Alvarado, who plays a small part as one of the pool moms, was a main character in Sospesi nel tempo (1996) by Peter Jackson, in which her character watches a video featuring Kate Winslet's character (as well as Melanie Lynskey's) from another Jackson film, Creature del cielo (1994).
