In the opening scene, Bugs escapes from a rooftop by sliding down a sign with lights on it. The vertical lettering on the sign spell out "ANDERSONS," showing its connection to the designer of The Modal, Neo's unawakened alter ego, Thomas Anderson. The bottom of the "ANDERSONS" sign has another sign that reads "FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO EAT SHIT." "To eat shit" is slang for accidentally colliding with a solid surface, usually face first, which is what Bugs does when she hits the ground.
