Iris Rainer, the lyricist of the song "Good Old Dad" was also a writer who wrote the book Beaches which became the hit film with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey. She also wrote for the Sonny And Cher Show and was the voice of Donna in Here Comes Peter Cottontail.
