The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) pulled out the Hollywood action movie "Uncharted" from Philippine cinemas due to a scene depicting China's nine-dash line maritime claims.MTRCB stated that it had "ordered Columbia Pictures Industries Inc. to cease and desist from exhibiting the said motion picture, unless and until they are able to remove the objectionable scenes"The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague affirmed the Philippines' sovereign rights in the disputed waters of the South China Sea in 2016, but the Chinese government has consistently refused to recognize the ruling.
