This is the second time that Jim Carrey has done a scene involving an airport chase. First time was in Scemo & più scemo (1994) 3 years earlier, where he was a limo driver, who chased Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly) all the way to the Jetway, falling off and hurting himself in the process.
