In Blue Bloods: Flags of Our Fathers (2015), at Sunday's family dinner Henry Reagan talks about a TV movie called Boys in Blue starred by Robert Conrad claiming that it was loosely based on his life. Although Boys in Blue (1984) exists, isn't starred by Conrad but Dean Martin's son Dean Paul Martin (as Officer Danny Harris), Gregg Henry (as Officer Jeff Martin), Maggie Cooper (as Officer Grace Carpenter) and Murray Hamilton (as Captain Sid Bender). Since then in the 80's Henry Reagan was Police Commisioner (highest rank in the series), Conrad's role should be played by Hamilton as Captain Bender (highest rank in the TV movie).
