At the beginning when Gramma Tala is telling the story of Maui, the monsters in the back include Tamatoa and Marshmallow from Frozen - Il regno di ghiaccio (2013). When Moana and Maui enter the realm of monsters they meet both of these creatures. The monster with the back spikes is actually Marshmallow.
