The movie's sole screenwriter Stanford Sherman later went on to co-write with director Stewart Raffill I pirati dello spazio (1984), which was directed by Raffill and premiered the following year. Sherman also was solo scriptwriter on the 3D sci-fi fantasy comedy The Man Who Wasn't There (1983), which debuted the same year as Krull (1983).
