Since the film has been delayed the last 5 years, some of the original crew members have moved onto directional ventures. Editor Mahesh Narayan, directed Take Off (2017) in Malayalam staring Parvathy, Fahadh Faasil and Kunjacko Boban, which was commercially successful. Assistant director Ike Radha, made his directional debut with Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae (2017) staring Jiiva, Sri Divya, also a successful film. Azad Alam, who assisted with dialogues in the Hindi version of Vishwaroopam (2013), ended up writing dialogues for another successful Hindi version, The Ghazi Attack (2017), staring Rana Daggubati, Atul Kulkarni, and Kay Kay Menon. Cinematographer, Shamdat Sainudheen recently debuted as a director in Malayalam titled Street Lights (2018) staring Mammooty.
