In season four, several references are made to Grey's Anatomy (2005): in episode three, "The Cold Turkey", when Dr. Roberts tells Summer he is leaving Newport to accept a position at a hospital in Seattle, he says, "the hospital is famous for being wonderfully quirky. It's called Seattle Grace." In the next episode, "The Metamorphosis", after Julie speaks to Dr. Roberts on the phone, Kaitlin asks "So how's Seattle? Is that short sassy lady still bossing Dr. Roberts around at the hospital?" Presumably she is referring to Dr. Miranda Bailey.
